My Cup Runneth Over

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.  (Genesis 17:6 8)

Abraham is given a promise to be the father of a mighty nation. This is a strange promise to one, who years earlier had no children. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) How often have you heard verses like this, that encourage us to believe that God can do the impossible. The more that you hear them, the stronger will be your faith. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) It is very important that you feed your spirit with the word of God on a daily basis.  This is the only way that your faith will increase. God wants you to believe in him to do impossible things, because it is not you that does them, but Him. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) My brother and sister in Christ, get ready to witness God’s mighty hand. Even your best thoughts will not be able to adequately prepare you for what God wants to do in your life. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Ephesians 3:20)
